 Lynsie: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, Certified Surgical Assistant & Office Coordinator
Lynsie enjoyed growing up in Myrtle Point and graduated from Myrtle Point High School in 1999. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Western Oregon University in 2003, Lynsie pursued a career in dentistry. Lynsie is a certified surgical dental assistant and an expanded functions dental assistant. Lynsie has an extensive depth of knowledge regarding dental procedures, and takes pride in giving our patients the highest level of care.
Her favorite activities outside of work include being with her husband and daughters, reading, going to the lake and camping.
 Shawna: Insurance and Scheduling Coordinator
Shawna has been working in the dental field since 1997. She began her dental career as an assistant, but found her skill set was most valuable in the front office. Shawna has a vast knowledge of insurance, billing, and scheduling and is an integral part of our dental team.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, scrapbooking, bowling, golfing, and watching football.
 Deanna: Registered Dental Hygienist
Deanna is a graduate from Reedsport High School. She completed her prerequisite courses at Brigham Young University, and pursued her dental hygiene training at Portland Community College. Deanna impressively completed the latter two portions of her education after her first 2 children were born, and became the proud mother of 2 more children after returning to Myrtle Point to begin her career in dental hygiene. Deanna spent 29 years of her career working for Dr. Jim Gronemeyer before he retired in 2015. Deanna is known for her gentle touch and her attention to detail, striving to do the very best job for every patient she works with. When she isn't in the office, Deanna enjoys music, hiking, reading, cooking, spending time with her husband and traveling.
 Courtney: Registered Dental Hygienist
Courtney enjoyed growing up in Coos Bay and graduated from Marshfield High School in 2012. Following high school, Courtney attended Oregon Institute of Technology and graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Courtney and her husband, Tyler, moved back to the Coos Bay Area in 2019 and have been working for the local community since. Courtney enjoys and takes pride in providing quality and relaxing dental experiences for her patients. Outside of the office, Courtney enjoys reading, spending time with friends, family and hiking with her dog.
 Jesse: Restorative Assistant
Meet Jesse, a proud Oregonian who found her heart in Coos Bay seven years ago after growing up in the small town of Oakland. Jesse wears many hats with pride: devoted wife, loving mother to a spirited son, and a dedicated dental assistant with over nine years of experience.
When Jesse isn’t busy ensuring smiles in the dental office, she is out chasing adventures in the great outdoors. Whether it’s navigating scenic trails on her horse Peanut, gliding across the tranquil waters of the Umpqua River on her paddleboard or hunting deer and Elk to help provide for her family.
With warm heart and a caring touch, Jesse brings a blend of professionalism and compassion to her work, making patients feel at ease during their dental visits. Her commitment to excellence and genuine concern for others shines through in every interaction, earning her trust and admiration of colleagues and patients.
 Bree: Scheduling Coordinator
As our Scheduling Coordinator, Bree is the friendly face you'll see when you walk through the doors at Pahls Family Dentistry. Born and raised in Coos Bay, Oregon, she brings a warm, welcoming personality and a background in hospitality that makes every patient feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
Bree is passionate about listening to and caring for others, ensuring each patient feels heard, valued, and well cared for. Whether she's helping schedule appointments or answering questions, she is dedicated to making every visit a positive experience.
Outside of the office, Bree is a proud wife, mother, and friend, roles she cherishes deeply. She is truly grateful to be part of the Pahls Family Dentistry team and looks forward to welcoming and assisting you with your dental care needs.
 Ashley: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Ashley is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant with more than 16 years of experience in the dental field. Born and raised on the beautiful Oregon Coast, she is proud to serve the community she has always called home.
She and her husband are the proud parents of three daughters, and she loves spending her free time cheering them on at their sporting events. When she's not at the office, you'll often find her enjoying time at the river with a good book or making memories outdoors with her family.
Known for her reliability, strong work ethic, and compassionate care, Ashley is an exceptional assistant who is dedicated to helping every patient feel comfortable and cared for. Her experience, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable part of our team, and we are grateful to have her. |
